“ I first met Rita in the Autumn of 1987. I had just moved to Clevedon, and as I wandered along Hill Road I saw a sign for The Beauty Clinic in the hairdressers window. The Clinic was on the first floor, reached by a stairway at the back of the shop.

I recall the colour scheme was peach, with pretty curtains, and the atmosphere was very relaxing. I was met by Rita, who made me very welcome, and I booked my first appointment. In the earlier years I mostly had facials, although Rita offered other treatments and even did my make up for my wedding.

A few years later The Beauty Clinic moved to larger premises, just across the road, which enabled Rita to offer a wider choice of treatments, product ranges, and take on other therapists to work alongside her.

Rita is very innovative and has always tried to develop her business. She always keeps up to date with new products and treatments. She also keeps her skills, and those of her team, up to date by ensuring that they attend regular training and update courses.

The Beauty Clinic has of course moved premises a third time and developed into The Beauty Clinic and Spa, which is absolutely beautiful. The welcoming atmosphere is still the same, with even more choice of treatments and facilities.

Over the many years that I have known Rita, She has always been truly professional. She is always very accommodating, trying her best to be flexible when booking appointments for treatments. I know there have been times when she has been completely rushed of her feet, but she always appears to be calm, with everything in control. Her care and attention to detail is always superb, which means I always leave the clinic feeling relaxed and pampered.
