“ I have suffered with Poly Cystic Ovaries for over 15 years, the worst bit about this condition is the hursuitism (increased hair growth), it can really affect your life and doesn’t make you feel very feminine. It was recommended by Rita that I should have a consultation and patch test to see how my skin would react, thankfully all was well and I booked my first appointment. Rita put me at ease, and put some cold gel on my face to reduce the redness and stinging sensation, I never really found it painfull. The feeling of having no hairs and finally finding a solution to my problem made it worthwhile. We all like to treat ourselves every now and again and I do consider this one of my treats, IPL will always be part of my life now as I will need top-ups, but for me this isn’t a problem; seeing as it used to take me 30 minutes every morning just to pluck the hairs away.
